We look forward to seeing you!

In 2025, we will celebrate our 20th anniversary!

What began as a traditional summer camp for Jewish children and teenagers has evolved over the years into a unique creative program. In our camp, talented young musicians, actors, artists, journalists and singers from Germany, Israel and other countries come together to develop their skills while gaining deeper insights into Jewish culture and traditions.

For our 20th anniversary, we plan a very special project: Based on the children’s opera “Brundibár” and its first performances in the Theresienstadt ghetto and based on the children’s book by Hannelore Brenner we will create a special performance to be shown publicly on August 18.

In our camp, the participants work together on a theatre performance that shows the synergy of different creative disciplines and combines music, singing, dance, choreography, stage design and digital media into a complete work of art.

Our team consists of professional artists and madrichim (youth leaders) from Israel and Germany. They are passionate about sharing their expertise in music, theatre and visual arts, and are also outstanding educators in informal Jewish education.

We invite young people with experience in music, theater, visual arts, or singing (both solo and in a choir) to join us for this unique project from August 11 to 19, 2025, at a youth village near Berlin.

In addition to the creative masterclasses, our participants will experience an inspiring community. We celebrate Shabbat together, go on excursions, swim in the lake, and enjoy evening activities together.

Partnership and Patronage

Our project is a partnership with the Berlin organization Room 28 and their Brundibár: Reading and Gift Project for Children in the sign of solidarity with Ukraine and Israel. Supported by the German Foreign Office, the organization produced a Ukrainian and a Hebrew edition of the Brundibár children's book to be given as a gift to children, because the message of the story is: Friendship, Justice, Humanity and Solidarity is the source of our strength. This project, of which we are part, is under the patronage of the renowned General Music Director of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich and Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin (RSB) Vladimir Jurowski.

We are happy to give all our participants a Brundibár-book.

Our supporters highlight the importance of our project and enhance our vision of connecting young people through music and creativity, and intercultural exchange.
