J-ArtEck Alumni Forum Berlin 24-28 March 2023

Dear ArtEck-people, dear friends!

Perhaps you have not heard since years about our International Camp Jewish ArtEck. Or maybe some of you did participate in our events in Berlin or were in touch with other ArtEck Alumni. We hope, you will enjoy to receive this mail.

Our project Jewish ArtEck is maturing together with its participants: in 2023 it will be 18 y.o., so big!

So we thought, it would be great if our former chanichim would get chance to experience it’s unique spirit again.

Our campers are living in different places over the world and couldn’t get together regularly. We would like to use the opportunity to give a hug, celebrate Shabbat together, sing our lovely songs and share what important milestones in private or professional life we had over past years. This is why we decided to start the J-ArtEck Alumni Forum, which we plan to hold annually.

J-ArtEck Alumni Forum will become a new place for our regular meet-ups, getting new acquitances, networking, development and implementation of new projects, where you, young adults, will be main actors.

The Pilot meeting J-ArtEck Forum-2023 will be held in Berlin from 24.03. to 28.03.2023.

The participants of the first Forum will be only 30 young people aged 18-30 from different countries who wish to develop a concept in which the J-ArtEck Alumni Forum will develop into a long-term project with an increasing number of participants. At the J-ArtEck Alumni Forum - 2023, everyone will be able to contribute with the knowledge, experience and ideas, become an organizer, or presenter. Creativity and openness were always among core values of Jewish ArtEck camp. Those values will stay with us now as well.

The first meeting of the J-ArtEck Alumni Forum will be part of one of the most important events in the Jewish activism movement - 5th Summit of European Jewish Leaders (24.03–28.03.). The Summit will provide us with the space for implementation of our ideas, team building, networking and strategy development for our project. The Summit gives us opportunity to hear world-class experts in various fields: Jewishness, culture, education, politics, leadership, entrepreneurship, etc.

We would like the J-ArtEck Forum will become meaningful event and we need your help for it.

Participant Fees

The participant fee for J-ArtEck Alumni Forum is 120 € (includes 4 nights in five-star hotel in a double room, Kabbalat Shabbat, kosher meals, participation in educational and entertainment programs, memorable gifts).

All events are held in English!

J-ArtEck reimburses travel expenses for:

-participants from Israel - up to 200 €

-participants from Germany living at a distance of 100 km from Berlin - up to 70 €

Participants from other countries, please contact us directly to clarify possibilities of participation and travel cost reimbursement.

Travel reimbursement take place at the end of the J-ArtEck Alumni Forum upon presentation of an air ticket with a boarding pass or a train/bus ticket.
